This year, we reflect on what being in “Solidarity with Refugees” means.

Event highlights include:

• The annual World Refugee Day Awards of Distinction that recognize outstanding members of the
local community who have contributed to making Waterloo Region a more inclusive community. (2-3 pm)

• The annual Walk with Refugees for a Stronger Canada to the Multicultural Festival is a time to
reflect on refugees’ experiences and their journey to settle in Waterloo Region. (3-4 pm)

• YMCA Newcomer Youth Performances
