Climate Refugees Exhibition
Due to the growing climate crisis, recent years have brought about a new kind of refugee that hasn’t been seen before: Climate Refugees. These refugees have been forced to leave their homes due to the impacts of climate change in their native countries.
Featuring photography from Vlad Sokhin’s project Warm Waters, Climate Refugees brings attention to our changing planet and the involuntary migrations that have occurred as a result. It also demonstrates the adaptability and resilience of the people of nations in and along the Pacific and Arctic Oceans as they have had to face unprecedented effects of climate change.
